It started with a simple question: Where do I put my phone?
For years, we accepted that carrying a purse was mandatory. We bought jeans with front pockets that were inexplicably sewn shut. We bought dresses and awkwardly held our hands by our sides because there was nowhere else to put them.
Then we got angry.
The vibe. Pockets > purses, every time.
What We Do
I Want Pockets is a curated directory of clothing that respects your autonomy. We collect links for women's clothing that have ACTUAL FUNCTIONAL pockets, including the dresses, the skirts, and the trousers that don't make you choose between style and storage.
Our goal is to create an updated, solid collection of pocketed women's clothing that you can easily browse all in one place. Every item on this site has been vetted for pocket depth. If it can't hold a standard smartphone, it doesn't make the cut.
Everything on this site is guaranteed to have decent pockets.
